Angelo & Son Seafood Restaurant
This longstanding, historical community landmark was destroyed by Hurricane Dennis in 2005. The new building mirrors the footprint of the original structure as it sat over the water. The construction consists of precast concrete and concrete thermal mass system with steel trusses. The new design has been built to withstand 160 mph winds.
Tradewinds Clubhouse
The 5,500 square foot clubhouse, designed in a simplistic Florida Vernacular style, provides the community a space to gather and entertain while enjoying the intimate views of the bay. The materials and rectilinear forms denote construction types of early beach settlers. These elements, commonly found in North Florida, are comprised of metal roofs, wood frames and structural masonry construction.
